The weary travelers have bee up for 24+ hours due to a six hour stop on a non-stop flight out of Lhasa into Shanghai. Right now they are sitting on the tarmac in Chicago, waiting to take off for home (their plane was scheduled to land here ten minutes ago). When I last talked to them about fifty minutes ago, Hubband was figuring that DTE was going to last for about another thirty seconds, bu she was claiming she would last until take off (which was estimated at ten minutes out at that point). I would bet real money that she didn't make it the ten minutes, much less to whenever they actually do take off.
