So, after over

seven months, it is finally over. A legal and legitimate process that all parties involved had the right to pursue, has finally come to a conclusion. I am glad it is over, I am impressed with the way it has been handled and the things that the state has learned along the way. I am glad that some rules and regulations are being reviewed and that some will probably be changed. That is all there is to say about that.

Limbo is a terrible place to be. Onward and upward... and 200+ days of his term are already behind him.

Granted 200 days are gone, but Minnesota still gets the benefit of 90% of his term. Upward and onward.

I don't know that I'm all that thrilled by any party having a sixty seat majority, though. If there's going to be one I want it to be Democratic, but still...

And I'm typing "repentro" to authorize this post?

Jayhawk (et al),

Um, actually, that "60 seat majority" isn't. It counts two independents who caucus with the Democrats, but are hardly party loyalists. It also includes a recent convert from the GOP. I would not bet on all 60 voting for clouture if it came to that.
