Now, I can understand that an indoor chicken would actually taste different than an outdoor chicken.

After all, free range chickens get to eat way more bugs and greens than ones that live inside. I do notice a difference in the flavor of free-range chicken eggs and caged chicken eggs after all. So maybe there is a difference in the flavor of the chicken as well if one were to pay close enough attention.

But really? I have never heard of chicken that is flavored like kittens.

Do you think it counts as cannibalism when I feed them to Oribel? (It does say "flavor" so i think it will be safe.)

Yeah, I'm not sure about the whole cannibal thing! My Quaker parrots like to eat chicken and personally it just gives me the creeps!! But...to each his own. Although the kitten flavor does cause me to think. Teehee.
OMG! That's freakin funny! and yes - canabalism indeed. g
First, I am impressed that you can tell the difference between a free-range chicken egg and a caged chicken egg. Very impressed. You have a very discriminating palate. I can barely tell the difference between a fresh egg and a spoiled egg.
But does Whiskas, and you, really believe that Oribel can descriminate between three different kinds of chicken, given that the chicken has been mashed into paste, had all kinds of stuff added to it to make it crunchy, and then dried to the consistency of an adobe brick? Or that she cares?
The "Kitten chicken" is all wrong anyway. Chickens don't have kittens, they have chicks, and that evokes imagery that is best left the hell alone.
That's just wrong on so many levels. LOL
hmmm.. I have eaten rattlesnake, and I don't recall that is tasted like chicken, but it was mild and not gamy at all. Chicken flavors are often what they are cooked with or in, seasoned with, served with, etc.
Maybe the kitten label was translated from Chinese or something? okay, maybe we don;t want to think about that..
Never mind Jayhawk, he pickled his tastebuds along time ago (said with love and affection of course )
LOL... Kitten Chicken Flavor... he he
Thank you for the guffaw!
Really? The things I miss out on now that Sis is on such a seriously restricted diet...
