has finally come to my stash. Seriously, I have been wanting this particular yarn for several years, but it is really hard to come by. Thanks to something
Gaylen mentioned the other day, I found a
store online that had it in stock.

They had "Monarch" as well, so at some point I (and perhaps someone else in my family) will be sporting wild animals and/or migrating insects on their feet.
Your grandfather loved all things Tiger. I'm not sure about socks - although he might have worn them if they were knitted by his special granddaughter!
ReplyDeleteI love the yarn - I hope pics of the socks show up here soon.
Neato! I think I have something very similar in my stash. Does it want to come to you?
ReplyDeleteTo go with the owls no doubt..
ReplyDeleteOooh...tiger socks! Those would make fine Auburn socks come football season. ;)

ReplyDeleteBubblesknits,
ReplyDeleteI will happily cheer for any SEC team, and I know that Auburn is the Tigers, but their mascot is an (War) Eagle, and they are a seriously confused team from a mascot standpoint. Cam Cameron notwitstanding. Out of respect for Barbara's Great-Grandmother, let's be thinking LSU socks, please.
Jayhawk, that would be yellow Tigers, which this yarn is not. Unles you want to go with Bengali futbol...
