The other night we had perfect conditions for the Moon shadows that I mentioned here. The moon isn't in the right position until around midnight or a bit afterwards, so Hubband actually got up to take these. The trick thing about taking pictures at night, even with a full moon? You can't really see what you are focusing on, so you have to take a picture and then adjust focus and all from that image. in addition to that issue, there is a kitten outside the room scratching the door to come in and help. She can't because you have the window open all the way (and she would jump up there and fall two stories down) and it is extra cold outside.
I really don't think there is much more to say about these, other than they are cool in the click/bigger size. Well, that and it is way better in person!

ReplyDeletebeautiful! and kinda eerie.
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing! Definitely eerie, but in a lovely type of way. Makes me think of Edgar Allen Poe.
ReplyDeleteLike something out of the C.S. Lewis other world series.
ReplyDeleteThose are so spooky!
ReplyDeleteWay awesome. I have not paid much attention to moon shadows as an adult but loved them as a kid. I need to pay attention.
