(All the plaques with descriptions have been removed, for renovation I suppose. Thus I don't know what the concrete structure is, or anything about the "Hands and Dove" sculpture.)

PS4 Update and a bit of randomness.

There has been some of this happening today and yesterday. Well, mostly the "Dogs In The Sun" thing, of course Sadie got up and came right over for "up-close-and-personal-attention" when I went out to take her picture.

Actually, this "hanging out in the sun" is also an "in-and-out-of-the-house-repeat" kind of thing since that sunshine is very deceptive; it is only 41°F out there. But it is an improvement over a couple of days ago,

or the projected snowstorms for this weekend. We could have several inches by the time we wake-up on Monday morning.

 

As for the randomness, this is the view in the farm field at the west end of our road a couple of weeks ago. I wish I had had my wide-angle lens with me, but at least I had the camera. Each and every one of those dots is a deer. (Of course you can bigify, but since I took these with the zoom from inside the car, they aren't super awesome pictures. They just give you an idea of how many deer live in our neighborhood.)

 

 

 

 

This weekend I will put up the pictures of The Lake that some of you weighed in on wanting to see. I'll even give spoiler warnings just in case anyone doesn't want to see them.

Well now, that was interesting.

Today I had a dentist appointment, the last one of a series. I had one more spot that needed a filling, due to a previous filling cracking into pieces. Well, the dentist does his thing, gets it all nicely filled, sculpted, burnished, and whatever else he needs to do to make it all wonderful. So of course the next step is to have me bite down gently on the piece of carbon paper to check stuff. Well, it would seem that part didn't go so well and the new filling cracked. So back he went to the "filling removal" stage and redoing everything. Except the second time around he did some grinding on the tooth above before doing the carbon test. Well, actually there was grinding on the upper tooth several times. He thinks it was also responsible for the original filling cracking.

A couple of weeks ago Miss Oribel was hanging out on the bed with me while I was drinking a cup of coffee and Hubband was getting ready for work. Well, hanging out is a relative term I guess. She had started out with running around the house to supervise the coffee acquisition, then she needed a drink of water while Hubband was trying to shave, and then there was some running and jumping over the sleeping dogs, and of course there was some sitting on the foot of the bed and batting at Hubband's hand while he was putting on his shirt. Not that he was encouraging her or anything like that. Anyway, it seemed that she must have worn herself out as then she came and parked next to me, so of course I flipped the blanket over her. She actually likes this one on her, but don't even dream of putting any others on her; well, unless she is helping you change the sheets! (Fortunately I had the camera upstairs that day.)

 

Then she got up and I thought she might have been all rested up for the next round.

 

But then she let me know what she really thought about having her sleep time disturbed!
